瓦努阿图中学生恒牙龋病发病情况及相关因素分析(1)

     [摘要]目的:了解瓦努阿图桑托岛居住的12岁及13~19岁中学生龋齿的患病情况,为在该地区制定中学生龋病的防治措施,提供基本资料。方法:将1 821名该地区居住的中学生,在室外条件下检查恒牙的患龋情况,并记录DMFT值,用SPSS统计软件分析各年龄组之间以及各牙位之间的患龋情况。结果:12岁组的患病率为30.43%(男25.08%,女36.23%),龋均为0.66(男0.54,女0.79)。13~19岁组的患龋率为49.92%(男44.39%,女55.79%),龋均为1.56(男1.22,女1.92)。性别及各年龄组患龋率和龋均有显著性差异。患龋最多的为下颌磨牙,其次为上颌磨牙,发病率最低的是下颌乳尖牙,其次上颌乳尖牙。12岁组及13~19岁组恒牙龋齿的充填率分别为0.53%和3.92%。结论:瓦国桑托岛居住的中学生恒牙龋齿的患病率较低,可能与当地的饮食结构有关,但龋齿的充填率也很低,应当加大口腔保健的服务力度。

    Prevalence of Dental caries of permanent teeth in vanuatu children and analysis of related factors

    Abstract:ObjectiveAssess the prevalence and severity of permanent dental caries in 12 year-old and 13~19 year-old children, whom live in the islands around Santo Island,Republic of Vanuatu. Then gain the base-line information of dental caries in students on Santo Island. Methods1821 students living around Santo Islands were invited to participate in, then they were divided into 2 groups according to the age, i.e.,12 year-old,13~19 year-old and 5-years-old.Clinical examinations were made under natural condition. Use the index DMFT, which is recommended by WHO, to assess dental caries in the permanent teeth. The univariate GLM ANOVA test was used for data analysis.ResultsThe prevalence of dental caries in permanent teeth increased from 30.43% to 49.92% from under 12-year-old group to 13~19-year-old group with the mean DMFT from 0.66 to 1.56.Not only were the significant differences of the prevalence and the mean DMFT in permanent teeth of the children found among different age-groups,but also in sex. The most prevalent permanent teeth of dental caries were the lower molars and upper molars.The teeth with lowest risk that decayed were the lower primary canines and upper primary canines ......
